Children of Abraham - Medical Equipment and Supplies to Heal the World $50 Million Worth of Medical Supplies Helps 31 Regions Around the World Children of Abraham, Inc., a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, was formed in 2004 with the principal mission of helping relieve suffering around the world by providing free medical supplies and equipment to areas where need is critical. And we aim to do this globally through local community-based efforts. Volunteers collect, sort and send surplus medical supplies and equipment donated by U.S.-based hospitals, as well as local professionals throughout our community in the Midwest area. The shipments go around the world where there is dire need for them – regardless of race, religion or politics and at no cost to the receiving hospitals.
